Inclusive by Design — Not as an Afterthought

Accessibility is a continuous investment in our platform, not a checkbox activity. We conduct regular reviews, act on user feedback immediately, and hold ourselves to WCAG 2.1 AA as our minimum baseline.

OUR STANDARD
01
STANDARDS

Standards We Follow

Our platform targets conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, built on four core principles:

  • Perceivable: Content presented in ways all users can detect — text alternatives, captions, and sufficient colour contrast
  • Operable: All interface components accessible via keyboard, voice, or alternative input
  • Understandable: Text and interface behaviour are clear, consistent, and predictable
  • Robust: Compatible with a wide range of current and future assistive technologies

Accessibility reviews are part of our ongoing development cycle and issues are addressed on a priority basis.

02
FEATURES

Platform Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following to support users with diverse needs:

Semantic HTML

Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful link text throughout

Keyboard Navigation

Full site navigation without a mouse, with visible focus indicators on all elements

Alt Text

Descriptive alternative text on all informational images for screen readers

Colour Contrast

WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios maintained across all pages and components

Scalable Text

All text resizes to 200% without loss of content or functionality

Skip Navigation

Skip-to-content links allow keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation

03
LIMITATIONS

Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas remain under active improvement:

  • Certain third-party embedded components — such as lender application forms — may have limitations outside our direct control
  • Some older PDF resources may not be fully optimised for screen readers — remediation is ongoing
  • Video content produced before 2025 may lack full captions — all new content is captioned by default

// We prioritise accessibility fixes continuously. If you find a barrier not listed here, report it — it goes directly to our development team.

04
ASSISTIVE TECH

Tested Assistive Technologies

Our platform has been tested with:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Keyboard-only navigation on standard and extended keyboards
  • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Apple Voice Control
  • Browser zoom to 400% with reflow on desktop and mobile
  • High-contrast display modes on Windows and macOS

We recommend Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions) for the best accessible experience.
